Court of Revision
A Court of Revision is a special, quasi-judicial meeting of Council that deals specifically with issues around local improvements (such as new sidewalks or lane paving in a neighbourhood) and Business Improvement Associations. Courts of Revision look at property measurements, lines, etc. to ensure that assessments for projects are fair. Typically there are one to four Courts of Revision held per year at 7:30 pm in the Council Chamber at City Hall.
Members of the public may speak if their property is affected. To speak at a Court of Revision, you must register at the sign-up table one hour before the hearing.
